Shala Monroque and I decided to be naughty and skip a few shows during New York Fashion Week to go see “The Help”. Such an amazing story and beautiful performances by Emma Stone, Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer. It was a first for me to see a movie in the middle of the day, and then head straight to a fashion show. Which reminded me that we pick up inspiration from so many different places. Shala’s magical dress is by Miu Miu.

I was shot by none other than Patrick Demarchelier for the Net-a-porter campaign along with the fun and stylish Shala Monroque, Ann Dexter Jones and Atlanta De Cadenet. At this particular shot I was thinking “Really!? THE Patrick Demarchelier is shooting ME?” Thank you everyone at Net-a-porter as well as Erik Torstensson for making this happen. Styling by Nicoletta Santoro, hair by Didier Malige and makeup by Aaron De Mey.

This is absolutely one of my favorite outfits, I love the mix of mustard yellow with pastel blue, paired with the white Mini Phillip Lim bag. And no shoe color was more perfect with this than my brand new silver Alexander Wang heels. Pants by Peter Som, top by Acne, sunglasses by Karen Walker.

Lindsey Wixson’s Fashion Week day two ensemble is beyond adorable. They way she has put simple pieces together, adding the hat and the bag, makes this outfit unique and a lot of fun. The Peter Som show hair and makeup works beautifully with her outfit.

Hi fashion lovers, I know many of you are not in New York but if you happen to be here tonight, please come join me to while I will bartend alongside Phillip Lim himself from 6-7pm at the store in Soho. I will be serving my own drink cleverly named “The Must-a-PART-i” by Mr. Phillip Lim himself.
From 7.15 to 8.15 you will find me at the Coach store. I hope to see you tonight!

I love my new 1973 Coach Duffle. I’m wearing shades by Karen Walker, top by Zara, shorts by Chloe Sevigny for OC and vintage silver bracelet.

This dream of a dress is by BCBG Maxazria. I wish it existed in white as well, a little like Givenchy.

Thank you everyone who voted for me to win the award for Best Fashion Insider in the Polyvore blogger awards. It was fun having a full takeover on Polyvore’s web site for a day. See the interview here.

I’ve just returned from the most relaxing holiday ever. I went to the Maldives in the middle of the Indian ocean, which is about as close to paradise on earth as you can get. The air was warm but not too sticky, so I finally got to wear my jumpsuit from H&M. I paired it with neon green and gold bangles from Topshop, a canvas bag from Club Monaco and sunglasses by Selima. I hope you all have had a great summer!
