IT’S PINK!

I am so glad I finally got this pink Proenza Schouler long sleeved T. I had been drooling over it at Net-a-porter for the longest time and never got myself to actually purchase it. I love wearing it with something white underneath. And it’s ridiculous how many different combos I am getting out of these plum colored Rag & Bone jeans. Plum is the new blue! Coat in by-product sheepskin fur by Sandro, shirt, bag and sunglasses by Acne and necklace by Camilla Prytz.

I can just look at these images forever. The breathtaking and yet simple Haute Couture creations from SS-48 and SS-08. The amazing Partick Demarchelier has collaborated with Dior and made a book with a retrospective on Dior Haute Couture collections from the first show in 1947 to today. The designs created by Christian Dior himself and his successors,Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and John Galliano are all in the book.

LONG LOST LOVE

This jacket makes me so happy, I love wearing pastel yellow. But sadly it’s not often that I see great pieces made in one of my favorite colors. My love for pastel yellow started when I was about 12 or 13 years old and went on holiday in the south of France with my family. We stopped by the lovely city Aix en Provence, I passed by a shop with a pastel yellow dress in the window and had to go in. I fell in love but the money I had would only get me ice cream and the dress was impossible to convince my parents to buy with parts of the holiday budget. I was sure I would be able to forget it, but even today I think about it. Perhaps my new Acne jacket will help me forget. Gloves by Dents and scarf by Marc Jacobs.

RAG & BONE + HANNELI

I was asked by Rag & Bone if I would like to be a part of the DIY campaign alongside Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karolina Kurkova, Miranda Kerr, Carolyn Murphy and Sasha Pivovarova. I got a bag of clothes and a small point-and-shoot camera to shoot myself. I brought the bag with me to Europe for fashion month and shot in between shows and work. I liked doing them, and I love the fact that they are very real and raw. Check out all my images here.

TAILORED

As it gets colder we need layers to keep warm, but that can make it difficult to keep a sharp silhouette. I know I feel like a ball of clothes in the middle of winter. That’s why this lovely woman inspired me, why not have a tailored jacket underneath your parka?

MARNI + H&M

I am beyond excited that Marni is next in line for design collaborations with H&M. Marni is such a fun and different brand, a little quirky but not too much. So fitting that it hit the stores on Women’s Day March 8, 2012.

HANNELI + D&G

I got to pick out my three favorite pieces from the first D&G jewelery collection to photograph and style them the way I would wear them. You can read what I said about each piece here.
