DIESEL BLACK GOLD + HANNELI

I was asked by Diesel Black Gold to style and model their ss13 collection in their campaign as well as choosing the photographer to shoot it. That was easy, as I have been a fan of Theo Wenner since I saw his story with Lindsey Wikson in the first Style.com print issue. I enjoyed the process of seeing everything come together from viewing the collection in the New York showroom, planning the looks, getting the right hair and makeup people, to seeing it come together on Theo’s camera. Thank you Diesel Black Gold for including me in this project and everyone that worked together to make it happen. And special thank you to Danielle Stewart who were a rockstar organiser throughout the whole process! You can see the rest of the pictures here.  Xxx Hanneli

MASSIMO DUTTI + HANNELI

Happy new year my sweet readers! I hope you had a really nice holiday. I have been enjoying some time off and seeing my family and friends in Norway before I go back to New York. Here is a video from Massimo Dutti that I did this summer. I can tell you swimming in the sea with clothes looks better than it actually feels, ha! But filming it was loads of fun. If you have ever seen the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, you might recognize the house in the background.

DREAMY MIU MIU

The New York weather has been far from normal December weather lately, just gloomy and dark. So this dream of a coat has helped make it more cheerful. Coat by Miu Miu, jeans by Helmut Lang, boots by Acne, eye-bracelet by Camilla Prytz, rose gold bracelet by Miansai, bag and shades by The Row.

GRACE CODDINGTON – A MEMOIR

Francisco Costa showed his pre fall 13 Calvin Klein collection and it was incredibly beautiful. I happened to bump into Grace Coddington which was really nice as I just started reading her book just came out- A Memoir. I highly recommend it even tough I’m only on page 64. If you saw The September Issue you already know that Coddington is inspiring, creative, blunt and has strong opinions that she’s not afraid to voice. Reading her book just opens up a whole new world of new things you didn’t know you wanted to know yet. It’s a perfect little pre holiday gift for your self. Get it here.

LOUIS VUITTON + HANNELI, ELIN AND MIRA

I had such a fun day in Paris with Mira Duma and Elin Kling as we met up and shot this with Louis Vuitton. We got to enjoy one of the last days of fall before the chill of winter truly set in. No matter if I am working or not, Paris is so dreamy and beautiful. The mini bags are so adorable and will be out in January, – perfect timing for Valentines day! Hello guys, I’m looking at you. I can’t make up my mind of which one of them I like the best. What’s your favourite colour?!

CRUISING THE STREETS OF NEW YORK

I just shot this story for Vogue.com on what to wear when cruising around. There’s no need to get the typical skateboarding uniform, especially when you can play around, be feminine and sporty at the same time. See the entire story written by the lovely Esther Adams at Vogue here. I’m wearing a sweater by Acne, skirt by Porter Grey, Sandro shoes, Chanel bag, Prada iPad case and longboard from Uncle Funkys.

IN ST. GERMAIN – PARIS

I am totally inspired by Miu Miu’s FW12 collection, my all time favorite. The shirt and tie are vintage, corderoy jeans by J Brand, Mulberry bag and shoes by Charlotte Olympia.

AT DIOR SS13

Leelee Sobieski looks like she’s walked out of the pages of a vintage Vogue magazine in her bright red Dior dress.

AT CARVEN – PARIS

Leave it to Carven to attract the cutest french girls, like lovely Ana Girardot. There is something incredible about this dress, first of all the fabric is unusual and different. Then there is the cut which is a very well done baby doll cut. I have been over the baby doll cut for quite some time but seeing it done so immaculate and structured I suddenly remember why it’s so good.
