The legendary rock photographer Jim Marshall died yesterday at age 74. He shot iconic pictures of everyone from Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, The Who, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix to Janis Joplin. He was supposed to speak tonight at the John Varvatos store in Soho together with photographer Timothy White. RIP.

so sad. such a loss.
He was a great artist. Very good eye. The consolation is that there are many great photographers today, like you, who carry on his work and a little bit of his style in their photos. Thanks for sharing.
