DIOR HAUTE COUTURE

Photographs by Patrick Demarchelier © Patrick Demarchelier

I can just look at these images forever. The breathtaking and yet simple Haute Couture creations from SS-48 and SS-08. The amazing Partick Demarchelier has collaborated with Dior and made a book with a retrospective on Dior Haute Couture collections from the first show in 1947 to today. The designs created by Christian Dior himself and his successors,Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and John Galliano are all in the book.

I absolutely love the jacket in the black and white. The pattern on the second outfit is beautiful- it makes me think of seaweed and coral- and I love the combination of blues and bronze.
