The draping of her dress, the color and the contrast with her hair and skin is pretty breathtaking.

Have you seen the Friends episode where Joey finds a key to someone’s Porche? He’s pretending it’s his, and hangs out right next to it and washes it. During the episode he ends up wearing only Porche clothes, where Ross (or who ever it was) asks: ” Hey! Did a Porche throw up on you?” That’s how I feel with this outfit, it’s all Acne, just by coincidence…
She is stunning! I love her style, it looks 80’s but it doesn’t look like she has been copying anyone just adapting the style to her own. Her entire outfit is vintage. I wish I had gotten the orange she had sticking out on top of her bag.
I knew I loved Sandra Backlund, but when I saw her new fall/winter 09/10 collection, I loved her even more. She reinvents herself with every collection but still keeps it sculpted, artistic and still very wearable. I can see myself wearing all her looks. Ahhh! If only I could…

This is my new hat, it arrived yesterday together with a lame Air force DVD and a catalog with Air force stories… I couldn’t resist searching the internet for a hat like that after seeing it on Filippa Berg’s blog. I’m in love with it, and I look forward to fall when I can wear it all day without getting too hot. I’m wearing a skirt in leftover silk from FIN, the silk larvas become butterflies before the silk is gathered, instead of how it’s normally done – which is to take take the larva when it’s still in the cocoon and boil it to death and then take the silk. After learning this I much prefer wearing leftover silk, and it looks much nicer too. Body from American Apparel, threaded cardigan from Topshop, Rizzo boots and 80’s pale pink lipstick from MAC in the color Saint Germain.
The Norwegian magazine Costume have had a peak inside my closet. I always loved reading these kinds of stories in magazines while growing up. It’s harder than you might think to get it to look interesting and neat, but not messy. I’m wearing one of my favorite dresses from Sass & Bide. It used to just hang in my closet because it has always been too big around my waist and chest, but after I took it to the tailor it fits like a glove.
It is no secret that I absolutely love Jak & Jil, so even though it’s my fourth time I’m thrilled at seeing my picture on his blog. The founder of Jak & Jil, Tommy Ton has a vision, eye and knowledge that is beyond admirable. The coat is a vintage one that I got on ebay a few years ago.
The sun is out, and New York is warming up, so I had to put on my favorite dress today. It’s quite short so I put my bright pink, who am I kidding? NEON pink biker shorts underneath. My shoes are from Acne, nail polish from OPI in the color “Linkoln Park After Dark” and my armour ring from Paris.
I’m wearing my new Matthew Willimson dress from his H&M collection. I love that it’s open in the back and really flowy. I also got a sneak peak on the whole collection and it’s really beautiful. If I don’t bring my national dress to New York to wear on the Norwegian National day the 17th of May I’ll wear this one.
