While in New York I ran into Ben Gorham, the founder of Byredo Parfumes and one of my favorite scents “Fantastic Man”. He just launched the scent “Blanche” which I have yet to smell. Can’t wait!
I’m sorry my dear readers that I haven’t been posting as much as I would have liked to lately. I have been very busy as well as I have been on vacation where there was no internet, and I have yet to figure out how to blog properly through my Blackberry. It was really warm but she still wore her knee socks in a non-hit-me-one-more-time way. I love that the entire outfit is black but still feels summery.

The artist Dash Snow died of an heroin overdose on July 13th. It’s so sad! I never met him, but I did pass him with his little girl and wife on Thompson street two months back. He got known for his honest pictures of his life with his friends doing drugs and having sex. He started out taking pictures so he wouldn’t forget and had exhibitions in galleries like the Whitney Museum, The Royal Academy and Saatchi Gallery. RIP.
I thought I was done with hippie, but apparently I wasn’t quite ready to call it quits… I stumbled upon this vintage dress in a vintage store that I really like in New York, Hamlet’s Vintage, 162 Bleecker street.
Summer in Norway is so peaceful, happy and relaxing. I shot these with my analog Nikon FM camera. My favorite thing to do in the summer is to pick tiny wild strawberries and put them on a straw, walk around barefoot and hang out at this garden café close to where I live.
The weather is so depressing here in Norway now so I had to go all black, a 360 turn from all my summery dresses I wore last week. This is my dog Catrine, my bff. The jacket is from my boyfriends closet, the dress has some amazing details on the sides and is from H&M, the stockings are from Wolford and my shoes are from Rizzo. The soles on my shoes are so worn down now and I’ll have to get them repaired, but I’m afraid they’re too damaged at this point. I will check with my favorite shoe repair guy Mr.Dagestad ,and see if he can do anything.
What an amazing guy! His outfit is so neat and thought through and it suits him perfectly. I absolutely love his mustache, it’s a bit Zorro-like.
I just bought the June issue of Spanish Vogue, and on page 62 I saw what I wouldn’t believe was true until I saw it with my own eyes. A picture I have taken is published in Vogue! The picture is of the beautiful spanish stylist Barbara Martelo, she contacted me after I posted it on my Norwegian blog and asked if she could use it. I actually took the picture before she became aware of me shooting it, and then I asked her if I could shoot some pictures of her. But it was the first one that turned out the best. Her Balmain jacket is divine.
