These shorts have the perfect slouch, the half tuck is done just as well as the pro Emmanuelle Alt, and the little pop of blue on her wrist is a nice surprise. This is an easy recipe for looking cool and effortless on hot summer days. Go from rosy nude to a strong green or orange to a pastel blue shirt. Have fun!

I was asked by Rag & Bone to select my favorites from their website and write a note on why I chose them. It was hard to just pick just a few as there were so many great pieces. I shot a few pictures wearing some of them, you can see them by clicking on the picture.
I’m wearing Rag & Bone blazer and shorts, H&M top and Acne bag.
I love having clothes that work with pretty much anything in my closet, and especially so for the summer. These shorts are like that. The cool thing about them is that I clamp them in the back to make them high waisted and let the sweater hang over to hide the resulting fold in the back, that way I can wear them with things that cut slightly shorter. Or I’ll wear them with no clamp and longer shirts and t-shirts which give them more of a boyish look. The best part about them is that they’re made out of Lyocell which means they don’t wrinkle easily and are silky soft at the same time.
Now I’m curious to know what your go-to item is for this summer? My shorts are by Acne, sweater by The Row, bracelet from a vintage shop in Sao Paulo and Mulberry denim bag.
I picked up this dream of a dress in the vintage part of Topshop in London with the help of my friend Hege. She is a blonde and didn’t feel it was the right colors for her. The colors are so vibrant and different, and the sleeves have just the right amount of frill. This will definitely be my live-in dress this summer. The bag is by Acne, the shorts peaking out underneath are H&M and the espadrilles are by DKNY.
