CH-CH-CHERRY BOMB!
If you have seen “The Runaways” you get my title reference. I have actually had that song in my head since I saw it a couple of months back. I was lucky enough to visit Anna Della Russo at her apartment together with Tommy Ton on my last day in Milan. When we entered her closet I seriously teared up… I’m such a geek. It was beautiful. Then she put this outfit on and put the cherry on top.
TIE A KNOT
A very cool way of tying hair at Michael Kors SS11. Now I just need to figure out exactly how that’s done. Could it be the start of a braid? An advanced Topsy Tail (if any of you remember those?) Any ideas?
TEXTURIZED
The textures in her outfit makes it extra special, the heavy knit and the herringbone leather belt. And I love how her collar is really cute but strong at the same time.
GRUNGY
Kat Hessen killing it with her 90′s vibe outfit, and she makes it look like she has never wore anything else. Very, very cool!
GREENWICH AND CHARLES
Mary Kate Steinmiller’s skirt length is just perfect. It’s a nice change after a long period with short skirts and a lot of bare legs. It’s elegant but at the same time young and fun. She paired it beautifully with a knitted sweater which is perfect to wear now as the temperature is dropping.
PINK SWOOSH
Agnete Hegelund after Giambattista Valli in Paris. Beautiful pink swoosh that works so well with her style. I love that it’s just sprayed and painted on, it’s not as committing as dying it.
OVERSIZED KNIT
I have posted a picture of Lina before <– she’s a Japanese photographer. I see her every fashion week and she always looks really interesting and almost otherworldly. I wish I spoke just a little bit of Japanese so I could get to know her. At least I managed to mime “Where did you get the sweater” and she replied “Vintage”.
CH-CH-CH-CH-CHANGES
My apologies for the downtime on my blog over the past couple of days. The old server couldn’t handle the increasing number of readers, so I was forced to move to a new host. Everything should be up and running again now.
The increased traffic is due to YOU guys. Thanks for being so sweet and supportive. I’m truly grateful!
TAKING FRENCH LESSONS FROM AN AMERICAN
Stephanie LaCava looks amazing in Stella McCartney! I love the shape, and the thick fabric makes this dress perfect for fall. Add stockings or even the knitted thigh-high socks from Miu Miu to it and you can wear it throughout winter.
