Emily Eisen looks lovely in her fedora and Raquel Allegra leather dress sticking out underneath the sweater. Relaxed and yet super chic! And her nail polish gives a great pop-of-color.

BANGS-FRINGE-PANNELUGG
My little sister Tirill wanted help to re-work her hairdo, so we sat down and made a little mood board before I started cutting. We were kind of wishing this was a service a hair salons would do. References can be so different for people; if I say Jane Birkin I think of her signature bangs and honey highlights but someone else might just know her from her short-do period and cut a pixie instead. Perhaps not the best example but you get what I mean. Tirill has an obsession with Anna Karina’s cute style and hairdo, so that was the main inspiration for our search. Sadly I didn’t take a picture of the result!
By the way, a great tip for sweaty bangs during the summer is dry shampoo. My favorite is one from Klorane, but in an emergency baby powder will also do the job.
SAME COLORS DIFFERENT CUTS
I realized that I’m wearing the exact same colors like I did HERE the clothes are just cut differently. The shorts are made of some kind of wonderful cracked leather by Helmut Lang, denim jacket is HL too, boots Acne “Box”, the bra is Alexander Wang and the bag is by Mulberry.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Poppy De Villeneuve is such an inspiring photographer, so I didn’t hesitate to say yes when NOWNESS asked me to do some “behind the scenes” pictures on the set of the film she was shooting. The short film is starring the super sweet Liu Wen as well as old school gangsta-like Edoardo Ballerini, whom you will see a lot more of on HBO’s new series “Boardwalk Empire” this fall. There are always so many beautiful moments happening during a shoot, sometimes small, little things that no one notices because everyone is focusing on what’s going on in front of the camera. The film aired today on NOWNESS and you can see more of my behind the scenes pictures here.
MAN SKIRT – IN A GOOD WAY
This might sound cheesy, but this guy took my breath away on the fields of Coachella, he really stood out in the mix of girls with furry boots and pasties. I love how he mixed both street and tribal into it and made it work so well. And he is actually making man skirts look pretty good.
VERY EXOTIC
I spotted this extra large cactus on my way to Sophomore’s pool party in Coachella, I have never seen a bigger cactus and being from Norway and all it was really exotic so obviously I had to do an outfit picture. The hat is from Screaming Mimi’s, worn out H&M men’s t-shirt, vintage high waisted shorts and Acne wedges. I love polaroids so I added one that Laura Taylor took one of me at the party.

NATALIA VODIANOVA
I absolutely love Natalia’s styling. It’s a little quirky mixed with sophisticated.
EASY BREEZY
Such a cute and easy summer outfit. Flowery dress – check, ankle boots – check, hat – check.
CREAM ON WHITE
I met the beautiful Chelsea in Meatpacking yesterday and I can’t get over how she had put the cream colored bow with the white shirt. Had the bow been the exact same color as the shirt it wouldn’t have been so good. The way her cape moved while she walked was amazing. Chelsea has a beautiful and quirky BLOG and she’s in two bands and I will write the names of them when I have her two CDs, now I’m at the airport. Update: She’s in three bands and they are (with links and all) – Chelsea Jade – James Duncan – Teacups.
THE SHADES
I met this girl at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, the week after I’m on my bike on the Lower East side here in New York and I see this guy, not only do they have the same sunglasses, but it turns out they are friends and that it’s the exact same shades, what are the odds of that? She is wearing a denim jacket from Opening Ceremony and the sunglasses are from Asos.
